I am 48, single, no kids. I am a health care professional. I feel that I'm generally a very good saver and a not so good budgeter - hence the credit card debt payoff I worked through in 2020.Today when I logged in to do my monthly net worth blog, I realized that for the first time I surpassed $500k with my Vanguard accounts. I have both a Roth IRA & another small brokerage account. I had not anticipated reaching this level for quite some time, but it means that I qualify for Voyager Select with Vanguard. Also, it doesn't seem like anything changes with this new standing. When you reach $1 million you get access to their trust services, for a fee of course.
I'm so close that this new standing could change next month. I wonder how long you have to stay at this level to be considered Voyager Select? 30 days? Do it come & go daily with your account balance? It doesn't really change anything for my strategies, but it's cool to finally reach that standing. It was a long journey to get from $50k to $500k! Almost 16 years, actually.

A Google search revealed: "At $500,000 invest in Vanguard funds you become a Voyager Select customer. The main benefit of this level is that you can get help from Vanguard's financial planners and legal without needing to enroll in PAS. However, they will NOT implement any plan for you - this is just advice.
You also get a dedicated customer service phone number, which should offer more experienced customer service representatives."
